Join the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and Fair Food allies from across New York to kick off this year’s major mobilization, the 2016 Workers’ Voice Tour, as we call on Wendy’s to become part of an industry that hears, respects, and gives a rightful, dignified place to workers’ voices.

We will march to the Midtown offices of Nelson Peltz, Wendy’s Board Chairman and CEO of the chain’s largest shareholder, Trian Partners. We will take the call for farmworker justice directly to Wendy’s doorstep by marching to demand that the final fast food holdout join the Fair Food Program — a proven, worker-led solution to farmworker abuse in the U.S. agricultural industry.

We will gather for an initial rally on W 58th St. and 8 Av (Close to Columbus Circle — accessible by Subway 1, 2, 3, A, C, B, D).

The march will be followed by a dinner and musical gathering of farmworkers and their allies at Union Theological Seminary’s James Memorial Chapel at 7:30pm (Broadway and W 121st). All are welcome!
