NPR reporter: “Why do you think it (slavery) is still happening?” Student: “Why? Because we’re ignorant. We ignore the situation. Because a lot of us choose to remain ignorant to things like this and, I guess, until we actually get a glimpse of what is going on then nobody is really going to stand up for it.”
